The Product

Measuring what matters: strap tension and wear time.

01

What it is

Our device attaches to a child's scoliosis brace with a strap riveted to the brace on one side and a patient-adjustable Velcro strap on the other. The patient tightens the strap as directed, and the device measures the tension applied.

02

How it works

The device continuously records strap tension. When tension reaches a minimum threshold, the brace is logged as being worn — so the device captures both how tightly and how long the brace is worn. Pairing tension with wear time produces a more complete and accurate picture of brace use than temperature-based wear tracking alone.

03

Data storage

All data is stored locally on the device, with capacity for over six months of readings. No internet connection or app is required for the device to do its job.

04

Reporting

When a clinician is ready to review the data, the device is connected and the readings are downloaded. The data is then processed by GH Medical Devices' analytics software, which organizes it into a clear report — breaking the data down by individual reading, by day, and by week, including wear hours, tension measurements, and summary tables and charts.

05

What it measures

Our device measures and records strap tension and wear time. That is the function of the device, and the foundation of everything we report.
